    Team Challenge and Party
    Holiday Team Challenge Pickleball Invitational Tournament – December 30, 2017, starting at 12:30 at Fore Kicks in Marlborough, MA with an awards ceremony and pizza party including a beer and wine cash bar immediately following upstairs in the"Kick Back Club". The cost for play & pizza just $20. Join some of the top 5 pickleball organizations from New England as they do battle for the prestigious Winners Cup Trophy. Each team will consist of 20 – 24 players (10 – 12 men and 10 – 12 women) in four age groups made up of 50 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, and 70 plus. Each age group will include a Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles team. Players can only play in one division. Age will be as of 12/31/17. Players can play down in an age group but can not go up in an age group. This is a round robin tournament format consisting of 11 point games win by one. The winning team will be awarded by calculating finishes per division. The first place winner in each division will earn 5 points for their team, second place 4 points, third place 3 points, fourth place 2 points, and fifth place 1 point. Each team's top 10 scores will be calculated to determine the team champion.     COCKTAILS & MINGLING
    Turkey Pickleball Bash Round Robin Tournament followed by a Brunch When: Friday, Nov 24 Time: 8-11:30 Where: ForeKicks, Marlboro Ward Park Pickleball is hosting a Round Robin tournament and brunch on Friday Nov 24 at ForeKicks in Marlboro. The tournament is open to anyone wishing to play. However space is limited to 16 players! Players will be divided into 4 groups of 4 players. Players will play with and against each member of their group. Games will go to 11 win by 1. At the end of each game, players will report their score to the scorekeeper. At the end of play, all scores will be tallied and the top 8 players will play together in Group A and the rest will play together in Group B. Players will be divided into groups of 4 and play each other. At the end of play, scores will be tallied by the scorekeeper and the top 4 players in the A group will vie for the championship in that group and the top 4 players in the B group will vie for the championship in that group. If time is left we can have the top 2 players from each group play each other. Prizes will be awarded. A brunch sponsored by the Steering Committee will take place after the Round Robin.
