We are excited to announce the official start of our summer pickleball outdoor program next Monday (4-17-2017) at Ward Park Marlborough.MA. For those not familiar with the location, you can go to our website where there's a interactive map link on the home page.

The schedule will be the same as we have been using at Fore Kicks. Stay tuned, however, as we hope to add a Wednesday evening time slot. This information will also be added to our website as soon as it's available.
We are also happy to announce that Fore Kicks will remain available to us throughout the summer on bad weather days. We keep you updated on such days by a quick note on the home page of our website, so please don't bombard us with emails that we won't have time to answer.

As explained in a previous email, due to the extra charges and liability insurance required by the city this year, we find it necessary to increase the fees.  Please be ready to sign a waiver and choose your form of payment  before you begin playing. This waiver will be good for the entire summer season.

Congratulations to Joanne and Norm Avey for finishing second in a tough competitive division at the Attleboro Y's mixed doubles tournament on Sunday.  They beat a lot of top notch teams and gave the winners a run for their money.  Congrats also to Nancy and Carl Moore who made it to the championship round before losing to the tough Avey team.  Lots of great pickleball--well organized and a good time was had by all.

TEAM WARD PARK beat TEAM NASHUA to take a 1-0 lead in Pickleball's  Rival Division on Friday January 27 at the Nashua Sports Academy in Nashua, NH.  Ward Park was led by the sizzling hot duo of Mike and Pete who did not drop a game.  Great play at the the kitchen line!  Norm and Joanne played a mean game before being turned back 14-12 by Nashua's star players Bob and Beth.  Dennis and Brian added to the score by playing flawless pickleball after dropping the first game while Dave and Carol finished strong winning their last game against the tough duo of Gary and Margaret.  Many thanks to TEAM NASHUA for hosting the match.  It was a well organized event and a lot of fun.  We look forward to a Rematch in the near future at Fore Kicks in Marlboro.  Keep tuned in to the website for further details.
